Can States Compel You to Bake a Cake Against Your Will? The Supreme Court Will Decide.

Can States Compel You to Bake a Cake Against Your Will? The Supreme Court Will Decide.

Masterpiece is the first such case to make it to the justices.

Masterpiece exposes another gross example of democracy/federalism gone bad …which always occurs… given sufficient time.

But more specifically, such cases show the limitation of nearly all laws, but especially those which create arbitrary classes and bright-line definitions that eventually reveal substantial uncertainty, create confusion, and then worse, become the basis for legal conclusions that are beyond absurd …like forcing a baker to bake a cake for someone …for whatever reason. And, not to mention, that such laws are not practically enforceable; thus, a waste of resources.

But perhaps most importantly, affirmation of such laws fuels the expansion of the veiled slavery under which virtually all of us live. I can only pray that SCOTUS doesn’t it take itself too seriously, and relieves us of another pseudo-intellectual juggernaut against those who earn their livelihood through mutual consent versus those that feel compelled to enforce this tripe, and can afford to do so only through the force government because there is no economic check on the theft of taxation.

Democracy, the God That’s Failing | Mises Wire

Another level-headed piece why we must unlearn our fixation that democracy is the apex of political philosophies, and that its flaws are ever more apparent.

But, next steps?

The true application of one rule of law: the Non-Aggression Principle voluntarily practiced by a critical mass of persons in any region or country.

But, can this growth in mass and transition be made without violence?

Probably. Among many other uses, the blockchain and advanced encryption could help protect the growing number of anti-statists and create a sustainable environment for greater justice, peace and prosperity.

Exciting times! The future is bright for more freedom and accountability. It is ours to make.

No, Gun Culture Was Not Manufactured by the Gun Industry | Foundation for Economic Education

“Debunking a recent book claiming that the gun industry created American gun culture solely with clever marketing.”

Whatever the history, and if you truly own your own body, doesn’t it make sense that you should be able to assume responsibility for your own protection?

And if so, then in the interest of justice, shouldn’t you have access to the same weapons i.e. technology or advantage as the criminals …and government for that matter?

Let’s face it, the know-how to manufacture arms won’t disappear soon, if ever. Greater regulation will expand black-market transactions for arms and associated criminal activity – the mechanics are identical to those which totally derailed Prohibition and War on Drugs.

Nonetheless, the efforts to skew history beyond common sense would be humorous, if it wasn’t for the often undue validity and importance bestowed upon academic “scholarship”, especially when it is frequently funded with taxpayer dollars channeled by special interests – no conflict of interest there:)
